CentriVap Centrifugal Vacuum Concentrators use a combination of centrifugal force, vacuum and heat to speed evaporation of multiple small samples. They offer maximum throughput required by biology, microbiology, biochemistry, pharmaceutical research and analytical chemistry laboratories. As many as 148 samples may be processed at once. Sample sizes range from a few microliters up to 600 milliliters. The accessory Microtiter Plate Rotor holds four standard or two deep well plates. |
With the smallest footprint available, the CentriVap micro IR Vacuum Concentrator fits in tight spaces and is ideal for small throughput in molecular biology, proteomics, genomics, genetics, cell biology and drug discovery labs.
Its transparent infrared (IR) glass lid directs heat to the samples to speed evaporation and reduces cross contamination from condensation. The CentriVap micro IR includes a rotor for twenty-four small samples, a CentriZap micro IR strobe light to view samples while the rotor is spinning, an built-in diaphragm pump and glass trap everything you need to start if concentrating. Simply plug it in and it's ready to use.
CentriVap Benchtop Vacuum Concentrators are designed to rapidly concentrate multiple small samples using centrifugal force, vacuum and heat. As many as 132 samples may be processed at once. Sample sizes range from a few microliters up to 25 milliliters.
CentriVap DNA Vacuum Concentrators are designed to speed evaporation of solvents from DNA samples and other very small samples. The compact benchtop cabinet houses the concentrator, DNA Rotor, diaphragm vacuum pump, two glass traps and all connecting tubing. No additional components are required to begin processing.
Using centrifugal force, vacuum and controlled heat, the Acid-Resistant CentriVap Vacuum Concentrator rapidly concentrates multiple small samples containing chemicals such as 0.1 to 1% TFA, hydrochloric acid, acetic acid, hydrobromic acid, ammonium hydroxide and sodium hydroxide. Components in the vapor path are constructed of corrosion-resistant materials for long life.
The Refrigerated CentriVap Centrifugal Concentrator is designed to rapidly concentrate multiple small heat-sensitive samples, such as RNA and proteins, using centrifugal force, vacuum and controlled temperature. This exclusive concentrator combines a refrigeration system that cools to -4ºC with a heater that warms to 100ºC to achieve the user’s desired set point temperatures.

This exclusive concentrator combines a refrigeration system that cools to -4ºC with a heater that warms to 100ºC to achieve the users desired set point temperatures. It also features a corrosion-resistant, Teflon-coated chamber and Hastelloy shaft to protect against samples containing corrosive solvents.
CentriVap Mobile Systems combine the separate vacuum concentrator and cold trap components into one space-saving console and include casters for portability from laboratory to laboratory. A 12-17 mm Rotor and Solvent Trap are also included. The interior can accommodate a vacuum pump - the only additional component necessary to begin processing.
CentriVap Cold Traps collect evaporated liquid from the CentriVap Vacuum Concentrator, protecting the vacuum pump from corrosion. The Traps may also be used in other laboratory applications such as freeze drying and desiccation. The CentriVap Cold Trap has a collector that reaches –50° C. The other CentriVap Ultra-Low Cold Trap reaches –85°C & –105°C to protect the pump from low freezing point solvents.
CentriVap Rotors hold tubes at an angle to maximize surface area and are easily interchangeable. Glassware is not included.

Rotary Vane Direct Drive Vacuum Pumps provide a reliable vacuum source for a variety of laboratory products including FreeZone Freeze Dry Systems, Protector Controlled Atmosphere Glove Boxes and CentriVap Centrifugal Concentrators. These pumps are available with displacement capacities of 117 or 195 liters per minute (at 60 Hz).
CentriZap Strobe Light enables the user to shine a strobe light into the CentriVap's chamber to easily view samples while the rotor is spinning. Includes mounting holster and hardware for attachment to the right side of the CentriVap.
